On the road to Berlin - Part 1 Rehab
First proper run back today. Up early at 6:45am, very tough to get out of bed but managed to. Did easy 25 mins around Battersea Park, great early morning vibe. Ran from Queenstown Bridge down to Battersea Bridge. about 25 mins in total. Right knee slightly tender but not too bad.
This afternoon, very fruitful physio session with Neil, major rehab starts now. Ankle ligaments quite damaged from last year and it is very loose compared to the left ankle. Have to do plenty of stretching and strength work over the next month or so to get it more rigid. Gave the knee some attention as well, need to keep stretching the RHS ITB band and do knee raises. The quest for Berlin starts now....
